went to HADY MIRZA'S birthday bash on 020208. had a smashing-grreat time there. the experience was very very different compared to let's say.. aliff aziz's showcases. i think it had a lot to with the people there. hady's fans are warm, friendly & very very supportive of their idol. seriously. & i realised hady's fans banyak minah tudung. haha. (:
arrived at TP wimma girlfriends at around 0230pm. had no idea where the convention centre was. so i decided to ask around. i pun tanya uh this chinese lady. then she said,"oh, its downstairs." so i went to search for the convention centre downstairs until i buay tahan. so my friend approach this group of guys & ask, "erm. excuse me. do you know the way to the convention centre?" & one of them replied,"oh. the convention centre's upstairs. i'll show you the way." i was like wtf?! ape? diorang ingan best turon naik tangga? orang dah lah terkedek kedek ngan kasut tinggi. abeh kene rounding satu skolah. buat klakar uh diorang. ingat cite cartun ape?? =.=
anw. reached the convention centre at 0300pm. yepps. took 30 mins to look for the convention centre. lol. when we arrived, there was already a looong queue. haha. semangat sehh datang siang siang. hees. queued for about 35 mins. entered the hall at around 0335pm. while waiting for everyone to settle down, me & my girlfriends cam-whored like nobody's business & also savoured the oreo cheesecakes we bought earlier. YUM! :D
the show kicked of with a banging performance by freedom percussion. lol. those guys were not bad. enjoyed it. (: soon after, the emcee called out for hady & the crowd went wild. haa. esp the makciks. lol. damn cute laa. the atmosphere that evening was really very nice.
well, hady was actually nicer than i expected. he was sort of caring in a way as he kept asking how everyone was feeling, are we all comfortable bla bla bla & kept thanking everyone for making an effort to come down despite the bad whether to celebrate his birthday with him. aww. ((: haha. but i realise he's a bit too 'careful' & sometimes comes across as a bit fake. i mean, dont get me wrong. i adore him to bits & will always suport him. but you've got to call a spade, a spade right? i mean, for example, there's this one part when he said phoung vy is not his type. then the emcee asked why & audience replied,"cause he like long haired & tan women!" haha. then hady added that those were just physical attributes & are not that important. what matters most is the heart. THAT is SOOOOOOO FAKE LAA. seriously. its just the way he expressed the point that was so.......not convincing. AT ALL. even my friend was like, "haha! then how do you explain FAZURA?" LMAO. true true. how DO you explain that? lol. budden who are we to question his choice right? asalkan dia bahagia sudah lah. *winks(:
& im sooo in love with his nephew luh. damn super effing cute i tell you. cuter then him, DEFINATELY. haha. i was looking at the toddler most of the time & have forgotten all about the man himself. haha. the imran kid super distracting lah. mwahahah. ((X
hady performed the acoustic version of you give me wings. i like it alottt. so soothing & pleasant to the ears. it was nice. very nice.
all in all, the birthday bash was awesome. haha. at least my weekend was well spent. (: & definately, i'll continue to support our asian idol. cheers everyone. mwaks.
